Srinagar: Indias second-largest private sector lender, HDFC Bank has launched a 10-second paperless instant loan plan for its existing customers.
Very few people in Jammu and Kashmir know that HDFC Bank has been disbursing personal loans to its customers in just 10 seconds. The whole process of availing the loan is completely paperless, and users can simply log into their bank account via net-banking or mobile banking and avail of this loan at a click, HDFC State Circle Head Zubair Iqbal told CNS.
The 10-second loan scheme was launched by HDFC in 2015 but due to lack of awareness, very few customers of the bank know about it or avail this opportunity It is hassle-free and transparent process. Unlike other banks we dont force customers to complete hectic and cumbersome policies, Iqbal said.
The 10-second loan is another offering under HDFC Banks digital banking platform GoDigital. Under the platform, the bank had launched PayZapp application to cater to e-commerce space. Through PayZapp, one can buy everything on mobile. Customers of HDFC Bank need not separately download Apps of companies such as Flipkart, BigBasket.com, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Makemytrip, Goibibo and Expedia. All that they have to do is get HDFC Bank’s PayZapp which would facilitate transactions at thousands of merchants across the country, he said adding that HDFC is no longer a bank but a market place.
