Srinagar: Chairman Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Geelani will return back to valley Wednesday 6th April. After staying two months in Delhi for medical treatment Geelani sahib recovering gradually but still feeling weakness.
Hurriyat Chairman Syed Ali Geelani went to Delhi on 6th Feb for medical checkup then was admitted at MAX hospital Delhi on 10th March when he complained about severe chest pain and at first instance there were apprehensions it might be the heart stroke. But after doctors complete examination there was no such case. Moreover, Geelani Sahib will arrive Srinagar airport at 1 pm boarded in indigo airlines then after he scheduled to visit office/residence Hyderpora Srinagar as doctors advised him for complete rest.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued to KNS Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akber said Geelani Sahib has been invited at OIC by Secretary General which is supposed to be held at Istanbul Turkey. He said although we have received an invitation letter from the OIC but we informed OIC organizers that due to non availability of travel documents Geelani wont be able to attend the said Conference. Ayaz Akber said last year administration issued passport to the Geelani for nine months only and that too expired now. (KNS)
Police deployed around Geelanis Hyderpora residence: Hurriyat (G)
Hours after Hurriyat (G) said that its Chairman Syed Ali Shah is returning from New Delhi tomorrow, the police has been deployed around his official residence in Hyderpora here.
Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar told KNS that the government has deployed police and cordoned off the official residence of the veteran resistance leader in Hyderpora.
We condemn the police action for cordoning off the Hyderpora residence of Geelani Sahab. And it is the first gift of Mehbooba Mufti to the pro-freedom people of the Kashmir, Akbar said. (KNS)
