CNB, CB organises training programme

SRINAGAR: Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch, organized a day long training programme at Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) today, on the use of satellite imagery in identification of land and fields used for the cultivation of Narcotics.

The training programme was attended by officers from Crime Branch Kashmir, Revenue Department, Excise Department and Forest Department. The training focused on learning skills as to how the satellite imagery can be useful in identification of lands and fields suspected to cultivate illicit Narcotic substances related plants.

  During the day long training programme, speakers threw light on the use of satellite imagery. Mr. Manoj Kumar Zonal Director Central Bureau of Narcotics, Mr. Aditya Superintendent Central Bureau of Narcotics, Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch Srinagar, Mir Mohammad Aftab.
