Srinagar: Aircel, one of Indias leading innovative telecom players today organized a unique bike rally in Srinagarto create awareness on traffic safety by adhering to important traffic rules. The uniqueness of this rally was further emphasized by the fact that Aircel distributors and retailers were the main participants of this event. This not only cements the trust that the trade community has on Aircel, but also exhibits their commitment to the betterment of the society by prophesying the need to adhere to traffic rules and regulations and thereby leading to traffic safety norms being followed. Through this bike rally, Aircel 3G products and services for Srinagar were also promoted and showcased.
The rally was flagged off by the SSP Traffic, Maqsood-Ul- Zaman and Dr. Harish Sharma, Regional Manager- Aircel, North.
Mr. Maqsood expressed his pleasure that Aircel along with its trade partners takes matters in regards to the betterment of society in a whole, seriously. He stressed that following traffic rules reduces the risks of not only drivers, their passengers, but also of pedestrians.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Harish Sharma, Regional Manager- Aircel, Northsaid, Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Masood-Ul-Zaman for joining us in this noble cause and gracing the occasion. It indeed is a matter of pride to see the members of Aircels trade family join hands with us and initiate this unique rally. Besides showcasing our unique 3G products and services to the citizens of this beautiful city, Srinagar, we are also stressing the need to follow traffic rules and regulations.
His sentiments were further emphasized byPrashant Ramesh Chaudhari, Circle Business Head, Aircel Jammu and Kashmir, who expressed his gratitude to the members of Aircels trade community for working closely with the Aircel towards the progress of the company and the betterment of society.
