KUDOS to Ms. Mehbooba for becoming the first female Chief Minister of the Jammu & Kashmir State. With fiery gusto, she has lead demonstrations and even argued in full public view with army officers accused of committing excesses on civilians which has gain her popularity and, in fact, her name soon became a byword for empathy and solace, mainly in south Kashmir.
She has an image of being a Kashmiri Muslim leader who has discovered the virtues of walking in lockstep with the elected representatives of the Jammu region. She can do her might if she could use her wisdom to form the government by concentrating on School education to all; innovative start-up companies and some industries based on electronics, food products etc. She is being faithful to the theory propounded by her father Mufti Muhammad Sayeed. As she is an able statesperson, she would tread carefully and balance between the Hindu-Muslim and expose herself by her leadership qualities. This will help her not only in assuming office as CM but even strive for peace and stability in the strife-torn region. What she now requires is not only political, moral and diplomatic support from bureaucrats in New Delhi but also help to succeed against all the heavy odds that are placed against her in the state. People in Jammu & Kashmir should extend full cooperation to her in the interest of next generations.
