Iranian President arrives in Islamabad on two-day visit

ISLAMABAD: Iranian President Dr Hassan Rouhani on Friday arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan.

Upon arrival he was accorded a warm welcome by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and was also given 21 guns salute at Noor Khan air base.

The Iranian President will hold talks with both President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday.

President mamnoon Hussain would host luncheon in his honor at President House.

Iranian President would speak to a gathering of Pakistan’s prominent scholars and intellectuals on Saturday.

Dr Hassan Rouhani will also address a press conference before conclusion of his visit.
