5000 trees planted under special plantation drive in Bandipora

BANDIPORA: The Forest Department has a target of two lakh trees to be planted in Bandipora district this season. As many as 5000 trees are being planted under special drive of plantation.

This was stated during the inauguration of the special drive held in the district. On the occasion, the District Development Commissioner Bandipora planted tree saplings here today.

Officers of forest department, army, security forces, police and other departments were also present on the occasion.
