Rs. 1681.80 crore disbursed at treasuries during this week

JAMMU:- According to Director General, Accounts & Treasuries,   Rs. 1681.80 crore were disbursed at various treasuries of J&K State from 14th March to 18th March, 2016.

Giving detailed break up, the Director General informed that Rs. 487.67  crore  on  account of  Salaries,   Wages  and  other establishment expenses,  Rs. 220.59 crore   on account of Contractors &  Suppliers , Rs. 15.17 crore   on account of Land Compensation,  Rs. 29.86 crore  on account of food grains  and Rs. 268.56 crore  for other objects of expenditure have been disbursed during the week.  

Besides, Rs. 659.95 crore have been disbursed on account of Flood Relief. The Treasury Officers have been instructed to disburse the payments on account of Flood Relief immediately after receipt of the bills for the same even on Saturday.
