Farmers’ training programme held at Kangan

GANDERBAL: The Department of Horticulture today organised one-day awareness camp cum training programme for farmers under Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) at Hariganiwan Kangan today.

More than 150 farmers of Kangan, and other Blocks of the District participated in the training programme.

On the occasion,   Chief Horticulture Officer Ganderbal V. K. Gupta highlighted   various welfare schemes/programmes of the department and asked the farmers to come forward to avail the benefits of the these schemes. He also gave a resume of achievements registered in the district during the year 2015-16.
