Kulgam: Police caught a burglar red handed while trying to steal iron grills from the SKUAST building in Khudwani area of South Kahsmirs Kulgam district.
A police official while identifying the alleged burglar as Bilal Lalu son of Manzoor Lalu of Ghat Khudwani told CNS that he was stealing window grills from the SKUAST building and loading the same in a load carrier. The said burglar has been arrested and the load carrier as well as stolen property was seized on the spot. The accused during questioning revealed the involvement of one of his accomplice Shaid Ahmed Bhat of Khudwani Ghat who was also apprehended.
He said an FIR vide number 62/2016 under section 457,380 RPC has been registered in police station Kulgam. (CNS)
