Fisheries dept organizes one day training programme at Akkad Anantnag

Anantnag: Department of Fisheries Thursday organized one day training programme at Akkad Anantnag in which ADDC Anantnag Muhammad Younus was chief guest.

The function was started in Akad fish form where at least hundreds of unemployed and private pond holders took participation.

Assistant Director of Fisheries, Muhammad Sidiq illuminate on the scheme in a brief discussion.

He said that the scheme of carp fish forming launched during the year 2004 to 2005 under PMs Package. “In 2008 2009 trout fish forming was launched in private sector under RKVY while in 2011 to 2012 another scheme under the name national mission for protein supplement (MMPS) was launched to boost fish forming in private sector,” he said.

He further said that the scheme is very useful to the unemployed youth and on this occasion the ADDC also illuminate on the scheme.
