Malik warns of intimidation

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Muhammad Yasin Malik Wednesday said that Kashmiris are being harassed from Delhi to Calcutta and this “intimidation” has once again proved the fact that Kashmiris are not safe anywhere in India.

In a statement issued here, he said, “Persecution of Kashmiris students is like waging war against the nation of Kashmir and no Kashmiri will tolerate this state sponsored intimidation.”

Yasin Malik while reacting to media reports about Kashmiri students being “intimidated” in Bengal institutes said that “terrorizing” Kashmiri students, businessmen and others living in Indian states is not new, but from JNU issue, this state “sponsored oppression” has turned ugly and Kashmiris especially students are being harassed, intimidated and hence rulers are playing with their careers.

Malik said that by these “oppressive measures” Indian rulers are actually showing their “venom and hatred” against Kashmiris.

He said that Indian rulers deem Kashmir as their colony and Kashmiris as their slaves and this “ill treatment” of Kashmiri students is actually a glaring example of this Indian attitude and mind-set. “Indian state is hell bent upon destroying careers of Kashmiris and if this is not stopped immediately ,Kashmiris will  have no option but to lunch a full-fledged protest program against this oppression and responsibility of all consequences will lie upon the shoulders of Indian leaders and rulers.”

He asked Kashmiris studying in Indian states to concentrate on their studies and assured them that nation of Kashmir is on their back and will not budge before “oppression and tyranny”.
