Mystery deaths: Bodies of 2 missing recovered ‘

Kulgam: In two days, bodies of two missing persons were recovered by police in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. On Monday, the cousin sister of deceased missing person died due to cardiac arrest when the word about the death of Arshid Hussain Wani reached her.

Arshid Hussain Wani son of Muhammad Ramzan, a resident of Tranhal Kulgam was a private school teacher who had gone missing on Sunday evening from Mirhama village. His body was recovered by locals from an orchard on Monday. 

Her cousin sister Nisara Bano wife of Muhammad Mubarak Mir of Mahipora Kulgam did not bear the loss of Arshid and suffered a major heart attack. “She was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam where doctors declared her brought dead,” a police official said.

On Sunday, the district had witnessed a massive protest after locals recovered the body of another missing person Adil Hussain Dar, a resident of Manigam. He had gone missing on 5 February when he visited his aunt living at Chitragam Kulgam.

“Investigation has been going on to ascertain the causes of the deaths of these two missing persons,” said police official.
