SRINAGAR: A meeting of SMCD members under the chairpersonship of Principal, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Amira Kadal Mtr. Shakeela Wani was convened here today.
The Principal briefed the SMCD members regarding the steps initiated for bringing improvement in teaching learning process. The measures taken in this direction include reforming the morning assembly composition with innovative measures like active student participation where the students dilate on different education themes and highlighting the importance of moral education.
Instant Quiz programs are held to ascertain the student’s interest in the morning assembly. The institution has installed CCTVs to monitor the delivery of lectures by the teaching staff and they are also directed to maintain lesson diaries. There is an efficient confidential feedback record system based on student response to evaluate the efficacy of classroom teaching. The members were further made aware about the ongoing construction work in the institution with acknowledgement of recurring /non-recurring expenditure under RMSA scheme by SMDC members.
