Srinagar: Regional Red Cross Committee Kashmir on Monday presented to the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon the consolidated report of activities carried out during August 2015.
The Red Cross officials informed the Divisional Commissioner about the cash relief provided during the period with details. They also gave a detailed report on relief material distributed in different districts of Kashmir. The officials also informed that 3300 blankets were distributed while 950 buckets, 100 solar lights were also provided to the needy.
The officials also informed the Divisional Commissioner about the programmes organized regarding health and hygiene, blood donation camps, free medical aid camps, relief distribution camps, pulse polio camps among other first aid training programmes. (PTK)
