SRINAGAR: A car was stolen from Casualty parking in the premises of SMHS hospital here on Thursday.
Khurshid Ahmad Illahi, an area manager with a Pharmaceutical company in Kashmir, told Kashmir Life that he was in Srinagar on Thursday scheduled to drop medicine of worth Rs 20000 to a medical shop. I parked my 2005 model Alto car (Jk 03 A 3428) in the Casualty parking in SHMS around 12 PM that day.
I met my colleague there and we drove to Sopore in his car, he added, when I returned around 5 in the evening, I found my car missing.
Khurshid said that he showed the receipt of the parking to the parking space manager. My car key too was missing. When I asked the parking slot manager about my car he feigned ignorance, he said, I went to Police station Karan Nagar and FIR was registered.
When contacted SHO Karan Nagar Police Station said, we have registered a case and investigation has been started. these are routine crime cases and we are investigating them. Only last month, we recovered two stolen cars.
