Srinagar: Suspected militants on Friday evening hurled a grenade towards CRPF stationed in SBI building at south Kashmirs Pulwama Town.
Official sources told GNS that at around 6:30 pm, the militants lobbed the grenade towards 182 Battalion camp in Pulwama but it missed its target and exploded with a big bang on road. However, they said, there was no injury to anyone.
The explosion created panic in Pulwama and soon contingents of polices SOG, Army and CRPF rushed to the spot and cordoned off entire area. The forces also conducted searches but no one was arrested or detained.
