Sopore: A student was beaten ruthlessly by his savage teacher in north Kashmirs Sopore Town of Baramulla district.
The student, identified as Dar Muntazim, of class 11th student in Boys Higher Secondary School Sopore was thrashed when students were leaving for home. The teacher slapped a student, on which everybody laughed but he shouted at me and beat me ruthlessly
I kept asking him as why is he beating me but he flogged me savagely for no reason, the victim told GNS, adding: I didnt even lodge an FIR against the teacher as the school authorities assured me of strict action against the teacher.
In this regard, Hanifa Qureshi, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School Sopore, held a meeting today in with her staff to sort out the issue.We strongly condemned this worst act and apologise to the parents of victim and we assured parents that these types of incidents will not be repeated in future and we will took strict action against the said teacher, she said.
