DLRC convened at Budgam ,Rs 352.69 cr disbursed by banks

BUDGAM: The 55th District Level Review Committee Meeting of the Lead Banks was held today under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad.

The meeting was informed that an amount of Rs 352.69 crores has been disbursed by the banks under Horticulture, Agriculture, MSME, Handloom, KVIB, Handicraft, PMEGP and KVIC Sector in district Budgam during the current financial year 2015-16 upto ending December,2015 against the annual target of Rs 543.06 crores thus registered an achievement of 64.94% of the DCP 2015-16. The Total deposits and advances has also increased from Rs 1482.09 crores to Rs 1624.28 crores and from Rs 1132.61 crores to      Rs 1264.11 Crores registered an increase of 9.59% and 11.61% respectively on YOY Basis.

The Credit Deposit Ratio has also increased from 76.42% to 77.83% which is above the Bench mark of 60%.

 During the meeting Lead Bank District Manger informed that Government sponsored schemes at State Level and central level have also shown an improvement against the total target of 2212 cases. The departments have sponsored 1687 cases under various schemes up to ending December, 2015 and the financial institutions have disbursed Rs 8.63 Crores to 773 units of beneficiaries thus registered an achievement of Rs45.82% and 35.49% respectively in no of cases sponsored and the amount disbursed upto the period ended 31 December,.2015.  The Flagship schemes of Union Ministry of Finance PMJDY, 80969 accounts have been opened and in PMJDY, PMMY ,Social Security Schemes were also discussed in the meeting

Speaking on the occasion, Mir Altaf Ahmad asked the banks to improve their report card  by the end of current Financial year. He also asked advised JKSES Deptt, Animal Husbandry Department to launch new schemes for the upliftment of the people of this district. He directed all the banks to complete the process of opening new branch in the identified areas as early as possible for inclusive growth of all the inhabitants. The new Scheme of Dairy Farming under Area Development Scheme of NABARD was also discussed in the meeting. Mr Junaid District Development Manager NABARD presented Potential Linked Plan 2016-17 for the approval of the plan.

The meeting was also attended by MLC Ali Mohammad Dar, Chief Planning Officer, and Budgam, and concerned.
