57 poultry projects Setup in the State: Registrar Cooperative

BUDGAM: With a view to increase the poultry production in the state, the Co-operative Department has setup 57 poultry Projects with an investment of Rs 14 crore so far in various parts of the State.

This was revealed by the Registrar Cooperatives, Peerzada Mushtaq Ahmad today during his inspection of several poultry projects set up in Budgam district.

The Registrar Cooperative said that for setting up of these Poultry projects Rs 7crore has been provided as loan by the banks , 3.50 crore as share capital and Rs 3.50 crore as subsidy from State Cooperative and National Cooperative Development corporation  to the beneficiaries.

The Register Co-operatives also visited Co-operative Public School Panzan Chadoora, established under Co-operative Sector. He applauded the Managing Committee and the staff of the school for their hard work and attaining 95% results in recent secondary school examination with 10 distinctions.

 The Registrar Co-operative society was accompanied by Additional Registrar Co-operative Societies Kashmir and other senior officers of the department during the tour.
