Srinagar: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Friday alleged that incumbent Director Education Dr Shah Faisal has been running the Directorate on the instructions of former Education Minister Nayeem Akhtar and this thing became clear when the said Director attended a PDP meeting at Fairview Gupkar even when there was no government existing in the State.
Abdul Qayoom Wani president EJAC and Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum while talking to CNS said that incumbent Director humiliated teachers community on the one or the other pretext. When Government failed to break the resolve of employees unions, they used Director Education as pawn who resorted to anti-teacher policies to harass them on daily basis, Wani said.
He alleged that incumbent Director Education has been leaving no stone unturned in misleading the higher ups about teachers community. Nayeem Akhtar appointed him to serve his interests. Though Akhtar doesnt manage any portfolio right now, yet the incumbent Director seek his suggestions and visit his residence for his blessings. In the garb of so-called reformation process, Education sector has received serious jolt. The transfer policy, Super 50, ReT Screening Tests are have become jokes, he said.
Abdul Qayoom Wani also alleged that incumbent Commissioner Secretary Education is also hell-bent to destroy the Education Sector in Valley. (CNS)
