KUPWARA: The District Election officer, Kupwara today convened a meeting of BDOs of the district to discuss various issues related to Panchayat Elections in 356 revenue villages (Wards) of the district.
The concerned BDOs have been asked to prepare the Panchayat constituencies electoral rolls in consultation with revenue department.
The DEO Kupwara impressed upon the officers to check the voter lists in their respective blocks for finalisation of the list upto March 12, 2016.
It was further asked to strictly follow the guidelines while preparing electoral rolls so that all the voters are enlisted.
