SRINAGAR: The District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone, today chaired an officers meeting in presence of Member Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul to review the developmental works being carried out in Eidgah constituency.
The meeting attended by Joint Director Planning, Superintendent-Engineers of R&B, PHE, PDD, JKPCC and Tourism departments took sector wise review of the under construction works and discussed threadbare issues of public concern.
While giving details of the developmental works executed in Eidgah constituency, it was informed that construction of MCH Noorbagh is in final stages while as construction of community halls at Dalal Mohalla Rehbab Sahib and Safa Kadal, drainage at Bulbul Lankar, playing field at Dana Marg Sangam and widening of road at Aali Kadal Urdu Bazar Fateh Kadal is under progress for which more funds will be released as per the estimated costs.
During the meeting MLA Eidgah, Mubarak Gul, raised many issues like dilapidated condition of roads, lanes and drains, supply of drinking water, de-siltation of streams, repairing of street lights, electricity transformers and other issues of public importance.
The DDC assured the Legislator that all the issues will be looked into and directed officials to pay regular field visits for early redressal of public grievances.
