Cooperative Banks to be equipped with latest technology: Registrar Cooperative

BARAMULLA:  A meeting of the Board of Directors of Central Cooperative Bank was held at Baramulla today under the chairmanship of Registrar Cooperative, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Khan, Joint Registrar Cooperative, Managing Director Cooperative Bank Baramulla and other concerned officers were present during the meeting.

 The meeting was informed that the Central Cooperative Bank has switched over to CBS platform and SMS facility. ATM and other services have also been made available for the people. It was given out that in the coming months, the Bank will be fully equipped with all sorts of latest technologies.

 Terming Cooperative Bank an important source of finance for the people of the district, the Registrar Cooperative said agriculture, poultry, dairy, horticulture and other sectors are the focal point of finance being provided by the Bank in district Baramulla. 

 Meanwhile, the Registrar impressed upon the concerned officials that every type of finance facility should be easily made available for the people of the district.
