Srinagar: PDP legislator from South Kashmirs Pulwama Assembly constituency, Muhammad Khalil Bandh, Wednesday was disallowed to proceed to Kakapora town of Pulwama district to show solidarity with the bereaved family of the slain youth and a girl who fell to the security forces bullets three days ago.
This is murder of democracy and murder of free expression, Bandh fumed. How can a common man be safe here when even the movement of a legislator who is the representative of the people is restricted?
I feel pity on the establishment which is choking the voice of the people in Kashmir, he said.
