HYDERABAD: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi kicked a political storm by playing beef politics in Hyderabad.
The prominent Muslim face in politics, Asaduddin Owaisi said if members of Muslim community wanted to eat beef, they would have to vote for AIMIM. He was campaigning for Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
If MIM is defeated in the election, I am telling you the members of minority community will have to forget about eating beef, he said.
A student asked me why Modi magic didnt work in Hyderabad in the general elections. He said we can even celebrate beef festival here and I replied we celebrate it every day in our city, Deccan Chronicle quoted him as saying.
Whenever Mr Owaisi raises the issue, he begins with mitro (friends) in the PMs style and goes on to say mitro may work anywhere but not in Hyderabad, bada (Beef) alone will work in Hyderabad.
Owaisi had slammed politics on beef when a Muslim man was lynched over beef in Dadri.
