12th class results likely by Jan 23: BOSE

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (BOSE) on Sunday dispelled the rumours over the announcement of 12th results.

Secretary BOSE Veena Pandita said they have not convened the official meeting yet in which the final date for announcement of results would be decided. “I don’t know why people have started believing in rumours,” she said.

Chairman BOSE Zahoor Ahmad Chatt, however, said the 12th class results will be declared by January 23.

“Results will be declared in coming four to five days,” he said, adding that the announcement will be made around 6 pm on the day of results.

“As per Supreme Court directions, announcement of results should be made in the evening when students and their parents are at their respective homes.
