15 toilet points, 10 passenger sheds coming up in Srinagar

SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, today reviewed the progress of construction of toilet points and passenger sheds in collaboration with Delhi Public School, Srinagar.

Among others the meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar,

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, President, J&K Press Association, Gh. Hassan Kaloo and Principal DPS Srinagar and other concerned were present in the meeting.

After threadbare discussion on the subject,  it was informed that the sites for 15 toilets and 10 passenger sheds have already been identified.

Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar was directed that concerned team alongwith representative of DPS Srinagar should conduct a spot visit on 21st of January, 2016 for finalization of sites.

The Divisional Commissioner finalized the type design of shelter shed and toilet points.

Principle, Delhi Public School, Srinagar was directed to start construction of toilet blocks at Masjid Hassan (A.S) at Hyderpora and passenger shed near bus bay Moulana Azad Road, Srinagar as models.

Principal, DPS assured that both these models will be completed within fortnight.
