Woman dies, Six injured in road mishaps

SRINAGAR: A woman died while six others were injured in three separate road accidents in Bandipora, Anantnag.

Bandipora, a Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK02Q-8707 hit a pedestrian Zoona Begum wife of Mohammad Ramzan Sheikh resident of Onegam, Bandipora at Onegam, resulting in her serious injuries. The injured lady was shifted to Bandipora hospital where she was declared brought dead. After completion of legal formalities body of the deceased was handed over to her relatives for last rites. Bandipora Police has registered a case in this regard.

Meanwhile, a Santro car bearing registration number JK02S-7869 collided with an unknown Sumo at Markundal Sumbal, resulting in injuries to two persons. Both the injured were shifted to JVC Hospital for treatment Bandipora police has registered a case in this regard.

In Anantnag, an I-10 Car bearing registration number DL2CAE-4839 on way from Anantnag to Srinagar met with an accident near DPL Anantnag resulting in injuries to four persons boarding the vehicle including driver. All the injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment. Anantnag Police has registered a case in this regard.
