Paddar grieved over sad demise of Mufti Sayeed

SRINAGAR: Abdul Majeed Paddar has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad and untimely demise of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed who passed today at AIIMS after brief illness.

Calling him a towering leader, visionary statesman, and embodiment of secularism,   Paddar said Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has contributed a lot for the upliftment and welfare of people, besides development and prosperity of nation throughout his decades old political career.

Paddar observed that the gap created by Mufti Sahib’s demise in the polity of the State would not be easy to fill. He said Mufti sahib was a senior seasoned politician and a wise administrator who was sincerely committed to bring back the State to sustained peace and normalcy and carrying it forward to achieve speedy development and growth on all fronts which will be remembered for ever in the history of J&K.

Paddar said Mufti Sahib spent his life for the welfare and dignity of people and always wished wellbeing and prosperity of people. He also expressed his sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal pace to the departed soul.
