LAR: Society for rehabilitation of destitute girls and victims of violence(SRDGV) ” NGO in collaboration with 5 Rashtriya Rifles Ganderbal innaugurated a vocational training centre in Chanthan Gulabpora in Lar area of Ganderbal district.
The free vocational training centre was innaugurated by 2 IC , 5RR Ganderbal , Major Varun in presence of Chairmain SRDGV , Mr Raheem Rizwan Reshi .
In this vocational training centre free training will be provided to the girls belonging to poor families, destitute and orphans. In the three months long training centre the girls will be trained by experts to make jute bags so that they can earn livelihood of their own.
Later a function was held in this regard in which cheif guest lauded the role and achievements of SRDGV, NGO Ganderbal .
Pertinent to mention here that SRDGV besides running a free educational institution for students belonging to poor and downtrodden sections of society has opened dozens of free vocational training centres in far off areas of Ganderbal district were free training is being provided to destitute, orphan and poor girls .
