Mufti, Mehbooba, Guv greet people on new year

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, today extended new year greetings to the people of the state and prayed for their well-being and prosperity.

In his message, Mufti Sayeed hoped that the people would experience a happy and prosperous 2016 with the state witnessing all-round development. “We resolve to rededicate ourselves to make J&K a strong, vibrant and a peaceful state,” he added.

Member Parliament and PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti, also extended warm greetings to the people on the eve of New Year.

“May the New Year usher in peace and prosperity in the state, revitalize our energy and spirit of commitment towards achieving excellence in all walks of life,” she wrote in her message.

In his message, Governor N.N. Vohra, has conveyed warm wishes and greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
