SRINAGAR: Sopore police arrested a drug peddler and recovered codeine phosphate from his possession.
On specific information, a police team from Police Station Sopore apprehended a person Riyaz Ahmad Khan alias Prina son of Mohammad Hassan Khan resident of Adipora, Sopore at Adipora. Sixty bottles of codeine Phosphate were recovered from his possession. A Case FIR number 283/15 under section 8/22 NDPS was registered against him and investigation was taken up.
