Govt. to establish consumer clubs in schools

JAMMU: Stressing on establishing consumer clubs in the educational institutes for actively involving youth in spreading information regarding consumer rights, the Minister for CA&PD Ch Zulfkar Ali Monday said that youth can play a vital role in supplementing the efforts to check unethical trade practices.

The Minister said this while speaking at a function organized at Heritage school  as a part of  Consumer Day celebrations

“Well aware consumer can play a pivotal role in safeguarding their interests” Minister asserted  and urged upon the consumers to keep themselves abreast with their rights and responsibilities .

Zulfkar while highlighting the measures taken by the government to protect consumer interest maintained that  concerted efforts will be made to realize the promise of ensuring quality and standard essential to the consumers.
