BARAMULLA: Department of Sheep Husbandry organised a Sheep Mandi at Shrakwara in Sangrama ,Baramulla during which as many as 250 Sheep were bought by the department @ Rs. 190/kg and directly distributed among the sheep units created under different schemes of the department.
Veterinary Assistant Surgeon informed that the main purpose of organizing such sheep Mandis is to ensure that Quality livestock are provided to the Sheep Units in the District at best prices.
