10 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar:  Ten persons were injured in different road accidents in Srinagar and Kulgam.

Taseer Ahmad resident of Gangbal fell from an Auto Rickshaw during the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession and was injured. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, an Auto Rikshaw bearing registration number JK01D-9583 collided with an I-20 bearing registration number JK01S-9093 near Dr. Maqbool Clinic Karan Nagar Srinagar, resulting in injuries to Auto driver Muneer Ahmad Wani son of Noor Mohammad resident of Khati Darwaza Rainawari. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered cases regarding these accidents.

In Kulgam, a motorcycle turned turtle on Kulgam Shopian road near village Pariwan, resulting injuries the motorcyclist identified as Reyaz Ahmad Ganaie son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Sehpora Kulgam. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Kulgam wherefrom he has been referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

Meanwhile, a truck bearing registration number JK05A-6834 collided with an Innova vehicle bearing registration number JK01AA-6663 at Levdoora on National Highway Qazigund, resulting in injuries to five persons boarding in Innova vehicle. All the injured have been shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar for treatment.

In another accident, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK13A-2346 collided with a Maruti Alto 800 bearing registration number JK18A-0356 near village Sundoo Kulgam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Bashir Ahmad Najar and a pillion Bashir Ahmad Chopan both residents of Bangam Shopian. Both the injured have been shifted to the Bone & Joint Hospital Srinagar for treatment. Kulgam Police has registered cases regarding these accidents.
