BUDGAM: A district level youth convention was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Budgam, here Wednesday. A large number of youth from various blocks of the district participated in the convention. The programme was inaugurated by ADDC Budgam.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest stressed on the volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra to act as torch bearers for the people especially the youth of the district and help eradicate social evils including the menace of drugs, school drop outs, pollution and deforestation and to be a role model for the society.
A district level exhibition was also organised in the lawns of town hall. The participants visited the stalls and interacted with the stall holders.
