Srinagar: An elderly woman died of cardiac arrest after a rabid dog attacked her in Kangan area of Ganderbal on Thursday. Witnesses said that Khati Begum, 66, was attacked by the dog after she tried to rescue a horse from its clutches.During the attack, Khati, locals said, suffered a heart attack. She was rushed to PHC Chhatergul where doctors declared her brought dead. Khati receivee several bite wounds but doctors said she had died due to cardiac.
