NEW DELHI: Ninety-two militants attempted infiltration from Pakistani side up to September 30 this year, out of which 37 were killed while 17 infiltrated successfully, the government said today.
In a written reply to Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh said six Army personnel were martyred during ceasefire violations along the Line of Control up to December 6 this year.
This was the highest casualty since 2012.
