Srinagar: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Thursday conducted a daylong awareness cum training programme in S.P. College Srinagar.
Large number of students and other staff members of the college participated in the training programme viz-medical emergency rescue, medial first responder (MFR), emergency evacuation using ropeways. Besides, giving glance of modern equipments used in collapsed structures and fire fighting.
The students and faculty members were enthusiastic about the training and eager to learn so that in case of any exigencies they can handle the situation prior to arrival of rescue team. Mock exercise was also held during the training programme.
