17th state taekwondo championship ends

JAMMU: Senior and Junior State Taekwondo Championships concluded at Braham Sabha Jammu in which around 200 Players from Kargil, Budgam, Shopian, Baramullah, Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Jammu and Samba District participated.

The players who won gold medal has been selected for the forthcoming 34th Senior National Taekwondo championships and 35th Junior National Taekwondo Championships 2015 to be held at JN stadium, Cuttak, Orrisa from 15th to 18th December, 2015.

On the occasion the Chief Guest Ali Raza appreciating the role of J&K Taekwondo Association for reaching upto every district of J&K and searching for the talents from the remotest places like Kargil, Doda etc, extended full support from his department so that talents from tribal belts of the state may be groomed into national and international professional players.
