2 years on, class IV aspirants wait for interview

PULWAMA: Applications on a prescribed format were asked from the candidates of district pulwama for filling up the class IV vacancies in CA & PD department Pulwama in August 2013. 

The department after short-listing the candidates finalized interview date on January 11, 2014 with a prescribed schedule as: 60 points to Matric, 20 points to 12th and 20 points to interview by the chairman recruitment committee. 

However interview was postphoned due to unknown reasons. 

Another list was published on 10 March, 2015 under GAD guidelines with 90% preference to 10th and 10% to 12th. It was given the interview date will be published after 15 days. However, upon the transfer of a senior officier, the matter hung in limbo again.

The candidates have time and again been asked to wait for the interview but to of no avail.

Talking to Kashmir Observer, the shortlisted candidates alleged that we have approached to higher authorities including director CA&PD, but they are not providing any attention to their pleas.

When contacted, Assistant Director CAPD, Mushtaq Ahmad said the interview would be conducted soon.
