Online registration commences for enrollment 

UDHAMPUR:- This is for the information of general public and youth of the Udhampur district that the Indian Army had started online registration for enrollment of officers (less UPSC entries) and recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) / Other Ranks (OR) in the Indian Army on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in   .

Based on schedules planned, on-line applications will now be invited onwww.joinindianarmy.nic.in for all entries, less those through UPSC.  There will be no more “OPEN RALLY” system, but only on-line registration and subsequently candidates will be “called for recruitment”. 

The candidates can “check their eligibility” on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and can apply on-line for chosen and eligible career options in the Indian Army.  For on-line applications, candidates should carry an eligibility including education qualification certificates, matriculation certificate, personal details, verification and domicile certificate, valid e-mail ID and mobile number.

Website can be accessed on any personal computer with internet facility, cyber cafe, Central Govt and State Govt kiosk like Common Service Centre (CSC) kiosks. Special   kiosks   at Army Recruitment Organizations (AROs) and Zonal Recruitment Offices (ZROs) will also be available for on-line registration and assistance to candidates. The procedure is not open to Nepalese domiciled Gorkhas.

For registering online, a candidate needs to visit the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and click on the portion ‘Apply Online’ on the homepage in Officer row (orange colored) and JCO/OR Enrolment Row (green colored). Fill the online registration form and after filling the form, click on preview and check if all the information entered is correct as no correction will be possible after saving. Candidates can take the print of the details by logging in using the e-mail Id and password.
