Doda, August 06 – As per the Chief Engineer (Civil), Dulhasti Power Station Kishtwar, the gates of the Dam of Dulhasti Power Station will be opened for periodical silt flushing on August09 2015 from 00:30 Hours to 18:30 Hours.
Accordingly, there will be an increase in flow of water and the level of river Chenab may increase by 2 to 3 meters.
As such the movement of persons, vehicles and pets alongside the river bank shall be avoided during this period to prevent any mishap.
All the concerned revenue officers, Police Officers and the Officers of Rural Development Department shall coordinate with each other in this behalf and shall jointly monitor the situation along the Chenab river bank and inform the general public to take proper care and avoid their movement in the area to avoid any mishap.
