Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference seeks change, a change in real terms which will actually empower and uplift the common Kashmiri.
In a statement PC chief Sajjad Lone said beyond the politics of dynasty and corruption which is the practiced order in Kashmir today it wants to represent the pulse of the common Kashmiri where ability triumphs over background, honesty over manipulation and the masses over the privileged few. There is a great desire amongst the people to get rid of the corrupt people and their corrupt ways who in large numbers are taking shelter in different political parties known for encouraging such practices; however PC has no place for such entities. Politics in Kashmir has been restricted to the sons, daughters and relatives of politicians and the elites born with golden spoon in their mouth who are unable to feel, represent and carry forward the needs and requirements of its people. People yearn for change and they deserve the change and opportunity to bring in new blood , new fervor and new passion, he said.
