FC I&C visits different JKI Units in Srinagar

Srinagar: To monitor the ongoing rehabilitation process for the flood affected people in the Valley, Financial Commissioner Industries and Commerce, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai today visited Government Arts Emporium Show Room, which was badly damaged during the recent floods.

Earlier, Ganai also visited Government Silk Weaving Factory Raj Bagh, Srinagar during which was apprised by the Managing Director JKI about the repairs and replacements made in the world famous tourist destination. He directed the concerned officers to complete the repairs within the shortest possible time in the premises of Silk Factory Raj Bagh, Srinagar, besides asked for making the Show Room functional within week’s time and the production activities shall also be made functional.

The Financial Commissioner I&C also visited Bemina Woollen Mills which was also affected during the recent floods.

Speaking on the occasion, Ganai emphasized for exploring ways to make the JKI Units functional within the shortest possible time to ensure all the Show Rooms and Sale Outlets be made functional for the massive inflow of the tourists.
