Constructions Around Sindh Banned

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court on Wednesday banned all the constructions around river Sindh in Ganderbal district.

The court said there should be no constructions within 100 meters from right and left of river Sindh.

Chief engineer irrigation and flood control also filed a report saying that the process of identification of the illegal constructions in Violation of the 2010 Water Management Act is on.

The chief engineer has said seven such illegal structures have been identified and notice has been issued to them.
