Ganderbal: A National Conference worker from Ganderbal district Tuesday alleged that former forest minister and Peoples Democratic Party senior leader Qazi Afzal along with security guards has made his life hell and every now and then they not only threat him of dire consequences but also beat him and his family members frequently.
Abdul Majid Bania resident Walivar Ganderbal said that political leader played a key role in implicating him in a false case. There is a dispute between my family and the security guard of the former minister. The security guard Muzamil Shah on the behest of Qazi Afzal frequently raids my house and threatens us of dire consequences. Shah is always accompanied by other security guards of Qazi Afzal, Bania said.
I approached the senior leaders of National Conference who showed their inability to restrict the onslaught of former minister and his security guards. I am scared of my life and appeal to the Chief Minister to look into the matter, he said.
When contacted, Qazi Afzal said, that the son of Majid Bania had abducted the daughter of my favourite PSO. I did not do anything. It was police who arrested his son after recovering the girl from his sons possession, Afzal said.
A top police official said that the son of Bania, Aijaz Ahmed had abducted 13 years old girl and the accused is right now in judicial custody. There is a case registered against the father and son in police station Lar. Police has done its job as per law, he said. (CNS)
