SRINAGAR: Srinagar police has arrested a government employee on charges of harassing a lady doctor, reports said on Thursday.
The Khanyar police station had gone into action after the doctor working at the nearby government-run Ghausia Hospital registered a complaint against an X-Ray technician of the same medical facility.
According to the police, the employee, Javed Ahmad Beig of Soura, had been harassing the doctor while on duty since long.
When the lady doctor could not rid herself of this harassment at workplace, she lodged a complaint with the police, it said.
The X-Ray technician has been booked under section 294 of the Ranbir Penal Code.
